Sun Angels – LDVRMO
London-based producer Sun Angels is back with “LDVRMO”, the lead single from their upcoming EP OPUS, out March 6 on Cascine. It’s a three-track release built around what the project describes as a triptych of beauty, truth, and good — a framework that sounds loftier than the music actually needs, because the music makes its own case.
“LDVRMO” opens with strings and layered vocals sitting somewhere between classical and spectral before a trance pulse moves in underneath. The two elements don’t exactly fight each other — they gradually lock in, and the result lands somewhere genuinely euphoric. It’s the kind of track that earns the word “widescreen”: warehouse breaks, big-room trance, and enough melodic weight to keep it from feeling clinical.
Sun Angels’ reference points are deliberately wide — Wagner and Darren Styles, Björk and Benassi Bros — and somehow that collision doesn’t read as a gimmick. It just sounds like a producer who genuinely follows their ear wherever it goes.
